Stephen, Babikov Win USSA Distance Nationals Skiathlons |

Liz Stephen skied the fastest time for each of the four laps of the women's race, and Ivan Babikov was almost as dominant in winning the men's USSA National Distance Championships Skiathlon on Friday at Birch Hill. Go to www.ussadistancenationals.org to download PDF versions of results. |

West Valley High student Crystal Pitney used the hills to pass Melissa Lewis then held her off for a win in the Women's 6Km, while Lathrop Ski Team freshman Logan Hanneman surged to a win in the Men's 8Km in the final race of the 12th Annual Flint Hills Resources Town Race Series, the Auto Service Company/SUBARU Classic. |
